Legio X Fretensis Reenactment Club
Legio X Fretensis is a historical reenactment club focused on antiquity. We study and recreate the material culture of Ancient Rome and neighboring peoples: military practice, civilian life, crafts, clothing, camp life and public historical programs.
The club has been active since 1991 and brings together members from several cities. This site shows the reenactment branches, event photographs, club news and how to join.
What the club does
The club takes part in festivals, maneuvers, tournaments, marches, museum events and educational programs. For members, this is not only public performance, but also regular training, source work, making reenactment kit and taking part in a team.
The main focus is antiquity, while partner programs can include other historical periods as well.
